今回は、日本折紙学会（JOAS）の公認資格「折紙指導員」についての解説です。
折紙指導員とは、JOASが独自に認定する専門資格で、私は2025年に認定を受けました。

I'll explain about "Origami Instructor" certified by Japan Origami Academic Society (JOAS), that I obtained in 2025.
※This is different from "Origami Instructor & Master" certified by Nippon Origami Association (NOA).
折り紙界隈では、SNSを中心に、作品や書籍、イベントなどの情報が飛び交っています。
一方で、こうした「資格」に関しては、取得までの具体的な流れや活用事例などの情報はなかなか見つかりません。
（資格の存在すら知らない人が大半な印象です）
There're countless informations about origami works, textbooks, and events, especially on social media.
However, we can't find any hints how to obtain or use the license at all.
(I think many people don't even know that the license exists.)
私が知る限り、JOAS折紙指導員に関する唯一の詳細解説は、hanakoさんのアメブロ「おりがみライター日記」。
有資格者の特典や、制度発足の経緯や取得方法などについて触れられています。

This article shows how to obtain the license and the background, actually I red it a lot.

①折紙指導員の要件
日本折紙学会（JOAS）が定める資格要件は、以下のとおり。

・日本折紙学会の会員
※マガジンの購読のみはNG
・コンベンションで「指導員講座」を受講
※地方コンでもOK
・指導技術と知識が一定水準
・認定料（＋更新料）
①Requirements
JOAS requires the following,
・JOAS membership (not subscriber)
・Attend a seminar at Origami Tanteidan Convention (Any area)
・Enough skills & knowledge for instruction
・Certification fee (& Renewal fee)

ざっくりいうと、JOAS正会員が、筆記＋実技試験に合格すればなれる資格です。
Simply, the license that the membership of JOAS can obtain if passing the written & practical exam.
日本折紙協会（NOA）の折紙講師は、基礎的な作品を100個折って送り、技量を審査されます。
最後が「妹背山」なので、全体的に難度はそこまで高くありません。
しかし一方で、講師の指導スキルは完全に講師任せなので、良くいうと多様、悪くいうと当たり外れが生じうる制度です。
（もちろん私自身にも言えることなので、気をつけなければなりません。）

The Origami Master of NOA requires to complete 100 basic models to asses the skills.
It's not so difficult that the final is Imoseyama, twin cranes.
However, instruction skills depend on the individual instructor. To be frank, skills may vary.
(Of course I must improve too)
一方でJOASは、「作品の上手さ」を見られることはありません。
代わりに、審査員が目の前で「講習する様子」をチェックするのです。
「難しい作品を折るスキル」よりも、「上手に教えるスキル」が重視されるということですね。
つまり、ガチプレイヤーでも、他者への指導ができなければ落とされるということでしょう。
On the other hand, JOAS doesn't check the skill. Instead, the judge evaluates the class management.
They might think "Teaching skills" is the most important point than "Folding skills". So the player who can fold extremely complex model may fail, if they're not good at teaching.

②申込方法
前述のJOASの公式ホームページの下部に、申込フォームがあります。
氏名や住所、連絡先などのほか、
・参加するコンベンション
・講習作品名
・作品創作者
これらを記載します。
②How to apply
There's an application form on JOAS website.
White down your Name, adress, contact information, and
・Convention that you attend
・Model that you instruct
・Creator who designed that model
プログラムを作る関係上、申込時点で講習作品を固めておく必要があるのでしょう。
It may be necessary to choose the model at that time to prepare the program.
コンベンションに行ったことがある人なら分かると思いますが、ここでの講習は、ほぼ全てが創作者本人によるもの。しかし実は、他人の作品でもOKなんです。
フォームに完答し、申込完了メールを受け取ったら、ほっと一息です。
People who have been to participate the convention may know that, almost all instructors uses their own model. But actually the others' one is also available.
After filling the form and receiving email, application completed.
