Let's get started!
■工程７－８
テキストでは「図の２線が並行になるように」というガイドでした。
「HT2025メソッド」では、開いてつぶした左端が、下のレイヤーの端とピッタリ一致するところを目印にします（図）。
私のブログではたびたび「上端が少しはみ出す」と言っていましたが、佐藤さん曰くピッタリで良いそうです。
一番大きな（下から３番目の）花びらの根元が、少々スッキリするのと、５枚の花びらで統一感を出しやすい、というメリットもあります。
■Step7-8
The textbook instructs "Make two lines parallel".
In "HT 2025 method", match the tip on the squashed layer to the lower edge.
On my blog I often mentioned "The upper tip should be cross the lower edge slightly", but this time you should "Match".
This method have some effects that make the largest (the third) petals slim, and create a unity among five petals.
それと、
後半に花びらが引っ張られて破れないよう、段折り部分の両端に「あそび」を作っておくのが定石でしたが、下側はやらなくて大丈夫。
Originally, keep the both ends of pleats to be offset slightly. But you don't have to do on the lower side.
確かに、よく考えてみると、２番目の花びらにあたる「上」は両端から引っ張られて裂けやすくなりますが、１番目の花びらにあたる「下」はほとんど引っ張られないんですよね。なるほど納得。
Actually, the upper end that equivalents to the second petals will be pulled from both sides and tends to be torn, but the lower end that equivalents to the first petals will not.
■工程１３－１４
ここは、まさにぃのワンポイントアドバイス。
遠心中割り折りを正確なポジションに一発で決めるのが理想ですが、なかなか百発百中とはいきません。
ここは、まず多め（深め）に沈めてから、引っ張り出しながら理想的な角度までズラすのがオススメ。
浅く折ったあとに押し込むと、「浅めのクセ」が付いて、浮きやすくなるんですよね。
なお、このテクはニューモダンやガーデンなどの「求心中割り折り」でも有効です。
■Step13-14
I'll show my tips.
"Inside reverse fold" should be set at the exact angle, but it often tends to be not.
I suggest that oversink first, then set to the exact angle by pulling it up.
If you set it less, misaligned crease are left makes the angle unset.
These method can be applied to "New modern rose" or "Garden rose".
■工程１７
「Ａ－Ｂ間の１／４」ではなく、真上の線の１／２で折り筋をつけます。
これには、花芯の穴をキュッと小さくする効果があります。
■Step17
Not fold "One quarter between A-B" but "A half between the lower end and the first crease.
This makes the flower core slim.
この１／２の寸法は「かおりんメソッド」と同じですね。佐藤直幹さんの改良点を、かおりんさんは過去に見出していたことになります。お見事です。
That measurement is also applied to "Kaorin's method".
It means, Kaorin had already found that solution before Mr. Sato, awesome!
■工程２４〜２９
いわゆる「花びらの収束」です。
全体を筒状にまとめる際に不可欠な「らせんの線」を強調するテクニックです。
ここを根本までしっかり付けておかないと、キレイな筒状にまとまらないばかりか、完成後のフォルムも崩れちゃうんですよね。
■Step 24-29
Enhance "Spiral lines", essential for assemble.
Unless you fold them to the bottom firmly, lt won't be cylindrical and the completed shape will collapse,
私は「裏から強烈につまむ作戦」でしたが…
佐藤さんは、「おもて面から押し付ける」というメソッドを披露してくれました。
おもてから見たら「これくらい（図）のポジション」で固定します。中心付近が浮きますが、そこはガマンです。
らせんの線を裏側からしっかり捉えて、おもて面から挟み込み、ギュッと押し付けるイメージです。
I usually pinch from the back side, Mr. Sato showed the way "Press from the front side".
You should fix like the picture above. The core may be floated temporarily, you can go aheard.
Find "Spiral lines" from the back side, and clamp it from the front side, then apply pressure.
こうすると、花びらの収束に必要なガイドラインが強調され、よりスムーズに進められるようになります。
In that way, the essential creases for assemble are enhanced, and you can process smoothly.
■工程33
底の折り込みについて。
「工程３３でフルパワー固定」が定石ですが、「HT2025メソッド」は花びらを引っ張りながらボリュームや丸みを出していくため、不向きです。（詳細は後述します）
固く折った箇所が一度緩むと、折り目が弱くなって再固定できなくなるんですよね。
したがって、
・工程３３：８０％
・工程３７：９０％
・工程３８：１００％
といった力加減でプレスすると教わりました。
■Step33 (Bottom)
Originally we fix it all firmly.
In "HT 2025 method", you should not.
Because in this method, make the flower rich & round, while pulling each petal (I'll explain later).
The firm fixed crease can't be re-fixed once unfolded.
So I was taught to fold with the following,
・Step33→80%
・Step37→90%
・Step38→100%
■工程３６
テキスト以上に、ガバガバに開きます。
どれくらいかっていうと、工程３３で塞いだ底に到達するくらい。限界まで剥いちゃいます。
工程３３で「８０％プレス」としたのは、ここで底が必然的に開いてしまうから。
花びらが分離する「扇風機」のリスクは無視してガンガンやっちゃうのです！
実際私も、佐藤さんと「これくらい？」「もっと！」まだやるんすか！？」という会話を２－３回繰り返した覚えがあります。
■Step36
You must open & peel more than the instruction in textbook, like reaching the bottom fixed in step33. Peel them to the limit.
The reason why I explained "80%", all creases will be unfolded in this step inevitably.
You can ignore the lisk that each petal separates. Go ahead!
Actually I was also told "Do more!".
■工程３７
この時点で、すり鉢のような形になっていればＯＫ。
このへんのプロセスは、「扇風機」を恐れるあまり、私も含めて多くのプレイヤーが控えめに処理しがちなポイントです。
（ちなみに、「かおりんメソッド」では３６－３７を省略しています）
■Step37
The shape became like a shallow bowl.
In these steps, we're often nervous that it'll be like a "Fan". So many folders may process it less.
(Actually "Kaorin's method" omits Step36-37)
当然、開けば開くほど花びらは大きく見えます。
「HT2025メソッド」は、「分離しないよう控えめに開く」ではなく、「大胆に開いて、あとから調整」という戦略をとっています。
これは特筆すべきポイントです。
The more opened, the richer the petals will become.
In "HT 2025 method", not "Open less not to be separated" but "Open boldly and adjust later". It's notable point that we should learn.
佐藤さんのお手本を見ると、完成後でも、いかに底を開いているかが分かります。
You can see the bottom is extremely opened, in Mr. Sato's completed example.
でも、やっぱり「扇風機」になるのは避けたいところ。
私の結論をいうと、それは「工程３０－３２をいかに丁寧にやるか」に尽きます。
折り上げの際、全ての層における密着度がカギです。紙の強度ギリギリまでやっちゃいましょう。
However, we're still nervous to be "Fan".
I concluded that it all comes down to "How carefully doing "Step30-32".
Hold all layers tightly while folding up, as much as possible.
■工程３８
１番目（底に一番近い花びら）は、根本付近しか折らずに、あとはゆるやかに浮かせます。
■Step38
The first petals (Closest to the bottom), make a small crease at the base.
Then keep the remaining part unfolded and make soft curve.
２番目の花びらは、端から端までザックリめくるのです！
全体を引っ張りつつ、胴体との間に指を突っ込みます。大きなくぼみを作るくらいやっちゃいます。
で、途中の地点で外側に折り目を入れるのです。胴体に沿うような曲線で。
私個人の感覚では、「親指の爪」の曲線に這わせると上手く立体感を出せるし、５箇所全ての花びらで形を統一させることができます。
The second petals, peel boldly from the base to the end.
While pulling the edge, insert a thumb like making a large gap.
Then fold along the body. The creases must be curve.
I make each crease along my thumb nail. If that, I can shape three-dimensional curves, and consistent shape in all five petals.
上部の段折りになっている箇所は、ボキッと外側へ折ります。ヨコ方向へ広がるように、折り筋をしっかり付けてあげます。
In the upper side, fold firmly, let each tip point outwards.
このように「しっかり折る」「折らずに曲げる」をミックスさせることで、全体的に動きのある仕上がりになるのです。
興味深いのが、こうして開いた２番目と、ゆるやかに底から浮いた１番目が、ナチュラルに繋がること。
自宅でおさらいしていて「なるほど！」と膝を打ちました。
ちなみに、これらのプロセスで底が再びゆるむので、このへんで「１００％」まで締めちゃいます。
Through these processes that mix "Fold firmly" and "Not fold, make curves", it finishes dynamic.
Interestingly, the second petals that were opened in such a way, connect naturally to the first petals that float from the bottom.
I was impressed to find these things while making it again at home.
By the way, the bottom tends to be unfolded around these steps. Fold with "100%" and fix all.
ここの中割り折りは、やや控えめ（浅め＋小さめ）が佐藤さん流。
Mr.Sato makes "Inside reverse fold" pretty small.
■工程３９－４０
ハイブリッドティーローズで一番の主役にあたる、３番目の花びらです。
「花びらの先側はそのまま沿わせるだけ」というテキストの表現通りに折るのですが、かなり意識的に「きつい角度で折る」のが重要です。より緩急のある花びらに仕上がります。
指を深くまで入れる必要があるので躊躇しがちですが、大胆にやればやるほどクオリティが上がるのが佐藤ローズ。恐れずやっちゃいましょう。
■Step39-40
Third petals, the most prominent in this model.
You can process along the textbook, you should fold the base "steeply". If so, the petals looks more dynamic.
You might hesitate to insert fingers deeply. But the more doing it boldly, the quality will be better. Don't be afraid.
■工程４２
中割り折りは省略するのが、最近の佐藤直幹さんテイスト。
テキストに従って中割り折りすると、すっきりシャープな印象になりますが、省略するとボリューム感が出ます。
ただ省略する場合、全体のバランスのズレが悪目立ちしやすいので、仕上げは入念に。
■Step42
Mr.Sato recently omits "Inside reverse fold".
If you do it along the textbook, the overall shape will be sharp. On the other hand, if you omit, it'll be rich.
However, if you omit, some distorted shape tend to be appeared and hard to adjust. Take care while finishing.
全体のバランスを見ながら細部を整えたら…完成です！！！
After adjusting each detail and overall shape, completed!!
佐藤直幹さんのお手本と比較しました。

まだまだ先生のレベルには遠いですが、成長を感じられて嬉しいです。

佐藤さんから「ブログで広めてください」と命を受けたので、久しぶりにコテコテの解説記事を書かせていただきました。

もちろん、上手く取り入れつつ、「自分流」にアレンジするのも良いでしょう！

I was requested from Mr.Sato to spread this way to everyone, that's why I write this blog.
You should try & make rich & beautiful rose along these! It's also nice to make you own masterpiece while mixing with your usual solutions.
「以前の作風を捨てて次のステップへ」というより、「佐藤ローズの新たなバリエーションに出会った」という感じ。
今回の大きな収穫をモノにして、さらなるスキルアップができたら嬉しいです。
I feel "Found a new variation" rather than "Reached the next step abandoning my method".
I'll improve my skill while learning this method up!
